August 15th 1951
The Amazon Rainforest,
Para,
Brazil.

I had been fascinated by Mythology ever since I was a child. Dragons, Gryphons, Sea Monsters, I loved them all.

My name is John McMurphy. I am an expert in Mythology. I used to travel the world, searching for even just the tiniest traces of every fabled creatures' existance. Throughout my travels, I saw the weird and wonderful wherever I went.

But nothing could compare to my experience in the great jungles of the Amazon Rainforest.

It was about 8:00am when I set off from the lodge, which was just a mile from the edge of the forest. I hopped onto the small, local bus, the warm breeze drifting through my light-brown hair. The bus halted just outside the dark-green border of the jungle. Handing the driver a handful of cash, I clambered off the worn-down vehicle and began to root through my bag, checking that I had brought everything with me.

Notepad, check. Camera, check. Pencil, check. Map, check. Torch, check, and last but not least, the machete. I ran my hand along the silky hilt of my blade.

"Let's do this." I said to myself as I began to strike at the vines with my blade, carving a path through the thick jungle.

I know what you're thinking. Why the hell would anyone want to go into a jungle? What were you looking for? Well, my friend, I'll sum it up in one word.

Naga.

Reports of strange and spooky occurances had came out of this forest recently. Missing cattle, noises in the night, weird sightings. The locals immediately pointed to the Naga. Half serpent, half human, these strange beings are a significant part of Amazonian Mythology. When somebody contacted me about these happenings, I was on the next flight to Brazil within days. The Naga was a very captating legend, and I was intrigued to find more about it's mysterious so-called return.

It was simply something a person like me could not turn down.

So here I was, hacking through the undergrowth of the Amazon Rainforest, looking for a creature that may, or may not exist.

After about an hour of cutting like a maniac, I grew tired and I had the strangest feeling that I was lost. I sat down on a moss-coated rock and sighed, wiping a layer of sweat off my forehead. It was incredibly hot, even if the thick canopy prevented little sunlight from reaching the ground, it still trapped in heat, creating a greenhouse effect. Then, I heard a twig snap to my left, which caused me to stand up and swivel around.

There, watching me in the undergrowth, were a pair of glowing, yellow eyes. A low growling noise was emitting from the shadows where they lay. I instantly knew what I was up against.

Jaguar.

I knew that the first thing to do when facing a wild cat is to stay as still as you can, which would mean that it would hopefully ignore you, but I was already one step ahead as I was frozen in fear. The jaguar however, was persistent. It skulked out from the shadows, revealing a golden body with dark spots. It looked as if it was going to pounce. Suddenly, the jaguar snarled at me, causing me to cry out in panic.

It pounced, and I fled, dropping my backpack onto the floor.

The vines pelted my face as I sprinted through the jungle from my pursuing predator. I could barely see where I was going, and there was no doubt I had ran way off course. I then tripped as I burst into a clearing.
"Damn it!" I roared to myself as I scrambled along the floor, my ankle throbbing in pain. I was pretty sure I had broken it.

A snarl forced me to turn around again, to face my predator. The jaguar bared it's teeth and grumbled as it's piercing yellow eyes ripped into my soft green ones. This was the end. John McMurphy, the famous mythologist, killed by a jaguar in the Amazon. No one would discover my cause of death, let alone my remains. I raised my hands and squinted when the beast raised it's paw and roared, preparing to finish me off.

Suddenly, my entire body surged as I felt something wrap tightly around my leg. I looked down to see a odd-looking, homemade rope wrapped around my thigh. The jaguar struck, and missed as I was, without warning, dragged along the soil and bark, away from the jaguar and into a hole. I tried to scream, but only a strangled gagging came from between my lips as the light of the Amazon crept out of my view, as I was dragged further underground, and as I began to slip into unconciousness.

I woke up, and observed my surroundings. It appeared that I was in some sort of cavern. The walls of the cavern were coated in a thin layer of green moss, which was accompanied by a small waterfall. A small ray of sunlight was beaming through a small hole in the ceiling, lighting up the whole cavern. I steadied myself as I attempted to stand, which ended with my hissing in pain and collapsing to the floor in a mess.

"Don't stand." a female voice suddenly chimed out of nowhere, "You'll make it worse."
"What?" I cried, "Who's there? Show yourself!"
"If you wish."
I began to hear a very odd slithering noise. And then, out of the corner of my eye, something began to emerge from the shadows. It grew into the shape of a human, and proceeded to grow taller until it formed a humanoid shape, a very large one infact. Eventually, I was staring face to face with the mysterious being. I gasped, shocked to the very core. I began to shiver as I whispered a single word.

"Naga?"

The huge Naga was a female. She was about five metres tall, double lengthways. Her head was crowned with a hanging curtain of luscious, black locks. Wrapped around her chest was a strip of flat, purple cloth, which I guessed kind of acted like a bikini.
Her vibrant, purple (which matched with her bikini) tail curved around in a loop, waving gently to and fro in the air. Undeniabley, she was beautiful. Huge, but beautiful.

"Well, I could say the exact same thing for you?" she raised an eyebrow as she crossed her arms, "I haven't seen a human in these parts for years. Why did you come here and spring my trap? What are you seeking, human?"
"I... I..." I stuttered, "I was seeking your kind."
"Really now?" she smiled as she leant closer to me, her scaly bottom half supporting her human top half.
"Well, yes. You see... I'm... I'm a mythologist. I search the world for mythical creatures such as yourself."
The naga laughed.
"Oh I think you'll find that we are very real! You humans are so funny, with all your myths and legends!" she giggled reluctantly. There was a short silence.
"Allow me to introduce myself." she began, "My name is Rena, and I have lived in this jungle for hundreds of years. What do you call yourself?"
"My... urm... my name is John." I blurted, "It's John."
"John?" Rena chirped, "That's adorable! You're so cute! I could just eat you up!"
Confused, I laughed softly at her joke.
"Thanks." I smiled at her.
"No, really!" she beamed, "That's what I'm really going to do! I'm starving."

My blood turned to ice as Rena reached down with a single hand, picking me up and lifting me to her face.
"No!" I yelled, "Don't eat me! I don't want to die!" I began to writh in her hand and tug at her fingers. Rena's face changed from happy to sympathetic when she saw my struggles.
"Aww," she cooed, "Don't be scared, little guy. I'm not going to harm you. Besides, you might even like it!"
"What do you mean 'I might even like it'?!"
"It's a Naga thing." she replied, "A member of my kind usually swallows a creature smaller than us for protection and comfort. I only want to keep you safe."
I began to sweat slightly. My instincts were screaming at me to get out of there and not to trust this beast, but the large remainder of my mind couldn't resist the heavenly charms of this beautiful, serpentine girl.

"Just don't hurt me." I said nervously.
"Don't worry," Rena whispered softly, "Just sit back, relax and enjoy it." Suddenly, my skin trembled at the surface of something that was warm and slippery. Rena's licking tongue rubbed into my face, the entire muscle coated my body and matted my clothes and hair with her warm, slippery saliva. Something switched on at that moment. It was a strange feeling that I had never experienced before. And it felt good! I had to carry on with this and let her take me!

I wanted to be inside Rena!

My hair was blown back when a gust of Rena's sweet breath washed over me from inside her opening mouth. When her soothin lips parted, I could see what I was about to enter.

The inside of Rena's mouth was drenched in saliva, from her huge tongue to her white teeth, which hung down like stalacmites in a cave. Her tongue writhed slightly at the bottom of her mouth like a living pink carpet, the fine coat of her saliva giving it a slick appearance. At the back of the living cave lay the entrance to Rena's throat. It flexed at each breath she took, and it's dark, pulsing interior made me want to crawl further into her body.

Gently, Rena then used her soft finger tips to place me into her mouth. Her tongue quivered as I made contact with it. It's surface was incredibly bumpy and slimy. As Rena began to close her mouth, I was slowly pushed up between the wet roof of her maw and her tongue. Then, I felt the two sides push down on me slightly as Rena's tongue began to surge underneath me and slather me in her drool. This was followed by a very loud moaning noise. It was clear what was happening.

Rena was savouring my flavour.

"Enjoying this, Rena?" I asked from inside the Naga girl's mouth.
"Yep." she replied, pushing me up against her slimy palate with her enourmous tongue as she attempted to speak. I was then proppelled further into Rena's mouth when her tongue gave out a large ripple, sending me headfirst and close to her open throat.
"Enjoy the ride, John." Rena giggled as she gave a huge swallow, the entrance to her throat sucked onto my body, washing me in saliva and funneling me into the tight, slimy tube that was her esophogas. For about twenty seconds, the wet tube pushed me downwards, my sodden body making it easier for Rena to consume me. Eventually, I was deposited into a larger, soggier and warmer space. I began to feel around Rena's stomach, taking in the slimy, folded texture of her stomach's walls. The air was very humid but breathable, not so much better as the rainforest environment outside. I closed my eyes and drifted off as I felt the organ's hot, wet walls compress around my body, filling in my shape.

It was one of the best sleeps I had ever had.

Several hours later...

I was woken by the sounds of the rainforest, crickets and hollering tree-dwellers. I sat up to find myself in the clearing again. I stood up normally. Why was there no pain? I looked down and saw a leaf bandaged around my leg. I smiled as I remembered.

Rena.

But where was she? I looked around. No sign of her. When I took my first step to where I came from, I stumbled onto something. I looked down and saw all of my stuff, packed neatly into my bag.
"Thanks, Rena." I said to myself as I crouched down and opened my bag, causing large envelope to fall out. Carefully, I picked up the brown paper bag and read the label

"For John."

Without hesitation, I opened the envelope. Inside it, I found my map, camera and a letter, which was once again labelled with my name. Firstly, I opened the map and grinned. Rena, using some sort of bright red chalk, had circled the cave, with a heart, near the small clearing in which I was in at the moment.

Where I had met Rena.

Then, I proceeded to open the letter. A small black-and-white photograph of Rena was attached to it, showing her entire body.

I began to read the letter that she had left behind, and I smiled to myself at the scribbled words on the paper.

'Dear John,

Please use the evidence within this letter to show others that the Naga are real. Always believe, no matter what anyone says. And most importantly,

Come back soon, cutie.

Lots of love,
Rena'
